The House of St. Michael (THOSM) was founded in 1989 in a private home, and served many as a “Safe House” of spiritual education. Here hundreds of spiritual and religious leaders and teachers shared their beliefs and viewpoints in an atmosphere of safety and respect. Now we port this tradition to an online home, or our new shorter name,

The House of St. Michael was formed in honor of the Archangel Michael. In Hebrew, Michael means "who is like God" and he stands as a symbol of humility before God. Archangel Michael is most known as the commander of the Army of God, and the patron saint of the warrior, as well as police officers, soldiers, and others. (read more >)

THOSM is among other things an institute of teaching, a place where various teachers can share their philosophical and religious wisdom in many ways to assist people in growing and better realizing the Truth of who they are.

Our focus is on personal spiritual growth. Everyone participating in this effort are in various levels of understanding and wisdom. Our religious backgrounds and preferences differ as well as our personal ways of expression. Some here will use their real names as they present their information, and beliefs. However, others have chosen to use either Ficticious, Spiritual, Nick names, or no name at all. To support this anonymity, we must post the following: Any similarity to real persons, living or dead, is coincidental and not intended by the authors.

Our Vision is "We and God are One."

God not only created all that is, God is still working on this unfolding creation. God is in all that God does. Each individual is a part of this creation. When we become aware of our status as a creation of God, and we choose to consciously make our personal contribution to the work of God, we are also aware that we are one with God. As all others are also part of God, whether they are aware of it or not, we know that we are one with each other. Great teachers, such as Jesus, taught us to love one another as we love ourselves.

When people observe this simple truth, there will be peace among people and among nations. Until we achieve this level of understanding, "We and God are One" is our goal toward which we work on every level possible. We invite you to join us in your own way and understanding.
